State Dept. Needs

Re “An Intolerable State,” editorial, Feb. 4: Your eye-opening editorial about the State Department tells us much more about the effectiveness of the Clinton-Gore administration than does the state of the economy. The former is a direct responsibility, the latter an indirect consequence, of a presidential administration.

We will see more and more of this kind of disclosure about the real nature of the leadership of a supposedly popular president who had many hoodwinked by his charm and his stated “concerns,” instead of analyzing what he actually did as a president.
