Where the Boys Aren’t?

Geoff Boucher’s “Chill Factor” (Feb. 2) told the cold, hard truth. Radio audiences have grown up and desire artist-driven playlists instead of the overpriced, overplayed and overrated boy bands.

Perhaps if these boy bands had more talent than production behind them (as demonstrated during the Super Bowl), they might have ridden the wave a few more years. Like their predecessors New Kids on the Block and the Bay City Rollers, it’s time for the Backstreet Boys, ‘N Sync and O-Town to all sing “bye, bye, bye.”
