Military Retakes Hill From Myanmar

From Times Wire Reports

Thailand recaptured a hilltop base near its northeastern border after a prolonged artillery assault drove out Myanmar troops, killing nearly 100 of them, the military said.

The Myanmar troops took over the base early last week so that they could aim their artillery at ethnic rebels based inside Myanmar, the Thai military said. Myanmar has previously disputed that the hilltop area is in Thailand.
