Tax Simplification

* When Washington enacts a new tax law it is essential that tax simplification be a part of it, no matter what size of tax cut emerges. Targeted tax simplification can, in itself alone, result in lower taxes. The labor and expense of tax-return preparation causes a horrendous leakage of national wealth, like a small hole punched in the bottom of a barrel of fine wine.
