They’re Up Mainstream Without a Moral Paddle

Last week Samuel Brown of Inglewood asked if “the mainstream media will treat Mark Chmura with the same disdain as they do Ray Lewis.” I’d like to know if the non-mainstream American people will treat Ray Lewis with the same disdain as they do John Rocker.

After being convicted of arranging the murder of the mother of his child, Rae Carruth maintained that he didn’t even know the woman’s last name. Fortunately, his attorney clarified matters by stating “I think what he meant to say was that he didn’t know the spelling of her last name.”

That might be plausible if he had been discussing international affairs with Zbigniew Brzezinski but the victim’s last name was Adams, which seems unlikely to stump even the average third grader.

However, all things are possible in the Nightly Felony League and I’m sure there are convicted criminals cavorting on NFL fields who have difficulty spelling their last names.
