Time With Doctors Just Doesn’t Add Up

Trust the American Medical Assn. to come up with some highly skewed statistics such as the one that doctors spend 21 minutes with their patients (“Recent Surveys Find Doctors Are Logging More Time With Patients,” Jan. 22). Having gone to 11 doctors or specialists in Los Angeles County in 30 years, I can assure the AMA that not one of these ever spent more than 15 minutes max with me.
