5 Life Terms for Man in Wendy’s Murders
A man was sentenced to five consecutive life terms without parole for his role in the murders of five workers in a holdup at a Wendy’s restaurant in Queens.
“I know my apologies to the families will never bring their loved ones back,” said Craig Godineaux. “I do deserve what I get. I don’t expect nobody to accept my apology.”
Prosecutors said Godineaux, 30, and John Taylor, 36, herded seven restaurant workers into a basement freezer at the restaurant last May. The workers were all bound and shot in the head. Two survived.
