Interlink Reports Growth in 4th-Quarter Revenue

Interlink Electronics in Camarillo said that revenue for the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31 totaled $9.3 million, up 25% from a year earlier and an 8% growth from the third quarter.

For the year, revenue came to $33.9 million, up 21% from fiscal 1999 levels.

Net income reached $1.5 million for the quarter and $3.1 million for the year, improvements of 137% and 47% over the prior year, respectively. Earnings per diluted share were also up from 1999, totaling 14 cents for the quarter and 28 cents for the year.

“We are pleased with the final results for the fourth quarter and for the year,” said E. Michael Thoben, Interlink chairman, chief executive and president. “For the second straight year, [the company] has demonstrated sequential quarter-to-quarter growth.”

Interlink manufactures interactive remote controls for business communications and home entertainment markets, electronic signature products for network and E-commerce applications, and integrated computer pointing devices.
