No. 6 Corona del Mar 4, University 0--Jaycee Mahler had two goals and Paige Janes and Allison Harvey each scored one for Corona del Mar (17-1-2, 3-0).

The Sea Kings’ Britta Vogele made three saves in her 10th shutout.

University is 1-11-2, 0-2-1.

No. 3 Santa Margarita 0, Rosary 0--Allyce Lawrence made five saves for the Eagles (11-2-2, 1-0-1) at Cal State Fullerton. Rosary is 12-5-2, 1-1-1.

In the South Coast League:

No. 1 Capistrano Valley 2, Dana Hills 0--Junior Jen Horn and her sister, freshman Kim Horn, scored first-half goals and Jen Pollick and Lauren Sapp had assists for the host Cougars (10-1-3, 2-0-1). Katie Shields made six saves for Dana Hills (0-2-1 in league).

No. 1 Mission Viejo 1, El Toro 0--Lindsay Huie scored an unassisted goal midway through the second half for the host Diablos (10-1-3), 3-0). Stephanie Briner made 14 saves for El Toro (14-6-1, 1-2).

In the Sunset League:

No. 7 Edison 0, Fountain Valley 0--Goalkeepers Alison Binder and Jenna Huff, who have split time all season, combined to make four saves for Edison (12-1-5, 1-0-2). Judy Kazlauskas made eight saves for Fountain Valley (2-4-5, 0-1-2).

No. 8 Esperanza 2, Los Alamitos 1--Trailing, 1-0, at halftime, Esperanza scored twice in a 10-minute span in the second half--tying the score on a goal by Adrienne Lindsey in the 55th minute and taking the lead for good on a Cynthia Pinkney goal in the 65th minute off a crossing pass from Allison Costello.

The win gave the Aztecs (10-1-5, 2-0-1) sole possession of first place.

In Freeway League girls’ water polo:

Sunny Hills 6, Buena Park 5--Aleah Amr had four goals, including the game-winner, and Roxanna McEwen had two goals for host Sunny Hills (10-6, 4-0).

Megan Henry scored all five goals for Buena Park (3-1 in league).

In the Orange League:

Valencia 6, Western 5--Paulette Flores and Marissa McKenzie scored in the fourth quarter, McKenzie with one minute remaining, to lift host Valencia (8-8, 2-1).

In the South Coast League:

No. 2 Capistrano Valley 17, Mission Viejo 1--Amber Stachowski and Clare Meadows each scored four goals and Aimee Stachowski scored three for the visiting Cougars (13-3-1, 2-0). Katie Kipkish scored for Mission Viejo (1-1 in league).
