New District Attorney

Re “Cooley’s Early Actions Hint at a Decisive, Individual Style,” Jan. 16: As a long-time observer of the goings-on in L.A. politics, I am so refreshed to see the brand of can-do determination Dist. Atty. Steve Cooley brings to his office. I salute the man for bringing the people’s common sense to an office that for many, many years has been drowning in a sea of perplexity. You go, counselor!
