Revote Order Sets Back Tycoon’s Party

The Election Commission ordered revotes in 62 districts and barred the incoming ruling party from contesting four of them for cheating in Thailand’s Jan. 6 general elections.
The commission also confirmed the victory of tycoon Thaksin Shinawatra’s Thais Love Thais party. The panel’s disqualifications, however, sharply reduced the party’s victory margin. Thirty-two candidates from the party face new balloting.
