Sex Appeal

Share

The writer of a June 28 letter wrote that he finds the use of the term “sex workers” by The Times to be “vapid silliness.” Obviously he is painfully out of touch with the real world. Those of us out here who have been working for the legalization of prostitution have been using the term “sex workers” for many years. After all, it is the oldest profession, it is a victimless “crime” and it is one in which the government (with no justification whatsoever) explicitly tells a woman what she can’t do with her body.
