15 Die in Kashmir Ahead of Talks With Pakistan

Fifteen people, including five Indian soldiers and eight separatist rebels, were killed in the latest violence in Kashmir ahead of this weekend’s India-Pakistan summit, police in India said.
A police spokesman said four soldiers and four militants were killed in a battle at Gurais, near the Pakistan border, late Thursday. A soldier, four other militants and two civilians were killed in clashes elsewhere.
