Orange’s Nguyen Defeats Ichim

Sixth-seeded Kim-Ahn Nguyen of Orange outlasted No. 5-seeded Iris Ichim of Beverly Hills, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, to win the championship match of the Acura Classic opportunity tournament Sunday at Rancho San Clemente Tennis and Fitness Club.
