Record vs. Storm--1-0.

Update--Thursday’s victory over Sacramento gave the Sparks their second nine-game winning streak this season. “We’ve had good first halves and good second halves, but haven’t really put it all together,” guard Nicky McCrimmon said. “It’s time we jelled as a team, not just look forward to the playoffs. We want to be at another level for the playoffs.” Seattle lost to Portland, 56-49, Friday and is eighth in the West but still within sight of the conference’s fourth playoff berth. Of the nine games the Storm has left after tonight, only four are against teams above .500. The Storm has lost five in a row and seven of eight. Rookie center Lauren Jackson, a 6-5 Australian, ranks eighth in scoring (15.4), 12th in rebounding (6.7) and second in blocked shots (2.1).
