L.A. Favors Thomas’ ‘Miss California’

L.A. radio play has made Southern California a hot spot for Dante Thomas, a young R&B; singer from Utah who was signed by Rat Pack, the Elektra-affiliated label owned by Pras of the Fugees. Thomas’ “Miss California,” from his debut album, “Fly,” remains in the Top 10 on the area singles chart, far outpacing its national showing.
