Are Executed for Human Trafficking
From Times Wire Reports
Six people have been executed in southern China for kidnapping and selling more than 100 women and children, a court official said.
The six were leading members of three criminal rings that abducted women and children in Yunnan, one of China’s poorest provinces, over the past decade, said an official at the Yunnan high court who gave only his surname, Guan.
Those abducted were taken to wealthier coastal provinces such as Guangdong and Fujian.
Other suspected members of the rings are still on trial.
