Youth Jobs Program Extended 5 More Years

France’s left-wing government extended its trademark youth jobs program for another five years, ensuring that the subsidized posts would not disappear in an election year.
Labor Minister Elisabeth Guigou said this would create 10,000 jobs next year, in addition to the 272,000 for those already in the program.
