Counterfeit Software Seized, Woman Held

A Rowland Heights woman has been arrested on charges of trafficking in millions of dollars worth of counterfeit Microsoft products, authorities said Tuesday.

Anna Tzeng, 44, allegedly obtained pirated software, including samples of the new Windows Millennium Edition, and sent them to customers in Georgia, according to a U.S. Customs affidavit.

Tzeng will be arraigned July 2.

Authorities seized Microsoft products with a retail value of $7 million, Johnston said. Tzeng faces 10 years in prison if convicted.
