Retreat Center to Celebrate ‘Season of the Sun’

The Holy Spirit Retreat Center will celebrate the “Season of the Sun” with a moonlight labyrinth walk with live music at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Encino.

The three-part celebration also includes “Sole to Soul: The Labyrinth Journey to Center” by Tom Murdock and Linda Schultz, an all-day workshop including prayer, presentations and walking, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 30.

“Letting Go: The Spirituality of Meister Eckhart,” presented by James Finley, will focus on the spiritual teachings of Meister Eckhart, a 14th century mystic, and his insights on self-transformation. From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 14.

The Rev. David Kalke of the Central City Lutheran Mission was awarded $100,000 by the Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leadership Program for making significant changes in health care and social services in San Bernardino.

CONCERT
