Update--The Sparks can reach 8-0 at the WNBA season’s one-quarter mark. The foe: acclaimed rookie Jackie Stiles and the Portland Fire, an 81-74 overtime winner at Sacramento on Saturday. Stiles, the No. 4 overall pick in the WNBA draft, set the all-time NCAA career scoring record at Southwest Missouri State, taking her team to the Final Four last season. The 5-7 Stiles, before Saturday, was averaging 32 minutes per game and 12.5 points. She’s shooting only only 22% from three-point range, however.
