Fisheries School Sending Another Group to Hawaii
From Times Wire Reports
A Japanese high school whose fisheries training boat was sunk in a collision with a U.S. submarine off Hawaii is sending more students for training in Hawaiian waters.
The 14 students and two instructors from Uwajima Fisheries High School will embark for Hawaii by the end of summer, said Toshihiko Nakao, the school’s administrative director. Uwajima’s students have no boat of their own and will be aboard a ship from a neighboring school.
