“I had the 2000 Rochioli Sauvignon Blanc ‘Russian River Valley.’ It just had such a depth of varietal character and was wonderfully grassy and melony. I like an herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc. And this was definitely a Sauvignon Blanc with a little bit of herbaceousness, which means it goes with everything. It’s a good summer wine, a good food wine.”
