Lehman Offers New List of ‘Value’ Stock Picks

Brokerage Lehman Bros. is trying again with a list of “10 Uncommon Values” in the stock market--even though last year’s list bombed.
Lehman, which has issued its annual top-10-picks list for 50 years, on Thursday chose Alcoa (AA), Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Comcast Corp. (CMCSK), Concord EFS (CEFT), Harley-Davidson (HDI), Liberty Media (LMG), Mirant Corp. (MIR), Washington Mutual (WM) and Waste Management (WMI).
Last year’s list was dominated by technology stocks--and has since fallen an average of 45%.
