* Re Stan Margulies’ obituary, March 1: He was such a good person. I never heard a raised voice, a nasty remark or a mean criticism. In the multi-varied Hollywood world, he was straight--always. I was honored to be Stan Margulies’ film editor on “If It’s Tuesday This Must Be Belgium,” “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” “Roots” and “The Thorn Birds,” among others. Stan was my boss, but he was always a friend. There must have been difficult situations for him at times, but they never showed. This is such a loss to all.
