We found your article “African Safaris’ Latest Risk: Bankrupt Tour Operators” (Travel Insider, Feb. 18) especially revealing and helpful.

For the last several months, we had been planning our safari to Africa and had recently been using David Anderson. Curiously, he was selling the African safari package directly to us and not, as stated in your article, only drawing “on his experience to counsel customers of Away.com.” Fortunately, your article informed us and gave us additional information that we should consider. Unfortunately, it also puts us back three months in planning for a summer safari.
