Net-Strike Executive Adds ‘COO’ to Titles
Iyad Darcazallie has been named chief operations officer of Net-Strike Worldwide in Newport Beach. He has been chief financial officer and vice president of corporate development since joining the company last year and will retain those responsibilities. Darcazallie joined Net-Strike from Ernst & Young’s New Ventures and Global Corporate Development groups.
* David Whelan has been appointed vice president and chief technology officer for the Boeing Co.’s Space and Communications Group in Seal Beach. Whelan was previously director of the Tactical Technology Office for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, part of the Department of Defense. Before that, he held several positions at Hughes Aircraft.
* Tara Fournier has joined Morgan Marketing & Public Relations in Irvine as account coordinator. She was formerly an intern at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda.
* Marcia Wilson is the new social services manager at Leisure World Laguna Woods Social Services Department. She was previously with the Adult Day Services of Orange County in Huntington Beach, the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Department of Adult Mental Health, Bristol Park HMO’s Behavioral Health Department, and the Alzheimer’s Assn.
* Robert J. Miranda has joined Stonefield Josephson Inc. as shareholder/officer of the Irvine office. Previously, he was a director with both Deloitte Consulting’s West region practice and Deloitte & Touche’s Orange County practice. Before that, Miranda was president and chief executive of RJ Miranda & Co.
* Chip Strosnider was appointed managing director for the Irvine and Los Angeles offices of Red Sky. He will be based in Irvine. Strosnider joined Red Sky’s Houston office in December as vice president of systems development. Prior to that, he was director of E-solutions for Zenius.
* Scott Hughes has joined Escrow.com in Santa Ana as vice president of operations. He was most recently vice president of e-business for Western Digital Corp., where he previously served as vice president of sales operations and vice president of human resources. Paul Hodgetts was appointed director of product development. Before joining Escrow.com, Hodgetts was a Java architect with the Java Technology Center of Sun Professional Services. Adrienne Cole joined the company as director of product marketing. She was previously vice president of marketing for Hality Inc., and held various management positions at ZLand, AirTouch, PAE International in Tokyo, Toshiba Medical Systems, and McDonnell Douglas. Kirk Nordenfelt was named director of quality assurance and trust accounting. He was formerly at Micro General Corp.
* Timothy P. Sullivan has been named senior vice president and national litigation counsel for First American Corp. in Santa Ana. He was also named senior vice president of its largest subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Co., while continuing as general counsel. Sullivan joined First American Title in 1992 as vice president-claims counsel. He was appointed national claims counsel and head of the legal and claims department in 1994 before being named vice president and general counsel in 1998.
