American Vanguard Expects Higher Profit

A day after releasing last year’s earnings results, American Vanguard Corp. said Tuesday that it expects revenue to increase more than 10% this year and anticipates net income to grow at a faster rate. The company said in a press release that its confidence in growth prospects is a result of product lines purchased last year and acquisition opportunities that remain available. Last year, earnings rose 34% to $4.3 million on sales that grew 13% to $78 million.
