Seacrest Testimony
Re “Sub’s Sonar Tech Says He Got ‘Lazy,’ ” March 20: His testimonial immunity notwithstanding, whatever guilt the Navy court might find in Petty Officer 1st Class Patrick Thomas Seacrest’s role in the Greeneville tragedy, he deserves praise for his gutsy admission of personal negligence. He breathed fresh air into a process often stifled by evasions of personal responsibility and dissemblance from truth.
