Fame Trumps Morals
* Re “A Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card: Just Get Famous,” Commentary, March 21: Haven’t we had enough? The Clinton-bashing goes on relentlessly and it is so very old and tired. As much as Michael Kelly and the National Journal, et al., would like to inject Clinton into all of society’s ills, it is apparent that the mean-spirited blather has become income to many who have made millions doing so. I don’t see Clinton in the media--it is the media that keep and make him news, then complain, “Why doesn’t he go away?” Dependency, psychological and credit counseling could do wonders. That vast right wing has overextended itself and needs to be brought to its senses. A daunting task indeed.
