Eastman Kodak Co., the biggest photography company, is teaming up with Kmart Corp. to sell online services at the discount chain’s stores and through its Bluelight.com Internet business. The retailer will use Kodak technology to post customers’ pictures on the Bluelight.com Web site. The companies will share revenue from the arrangement, a Kodak spokeswoman said. She wouldn’t disclose specific terms. Kmart customers will indicate on their photo-finishing envelopes whether they want their pictures put on the site. Each user will get an identification code to view the photos, which can be digitally enhanced, printed and shared online with others. Kodak is looking to digital products to increase profit. The Rochester, N.Y.-based company has a similar agreement with drugstore chain Rite Aid Corp. Shares of Troy, Mich.-based Kmart closed unchanged at $10.65, while Kodak rose $1.04 to $47.80, both on the New York Stock Exchange.
