FBI Uncovers Its Own Evidence

Share

The federal government that violated Richard Jewell’s rights (Olympic bombing suspect in Atlanta), botched the Los Alamos spy investigation, admitted to covering up portions of the Waco incident and is now revealing that it did not give Timothy McVeigh’s defense over 3,000 pages of FBI materials (May 12) is the same federal government that is forcing a consent decree on the city of Los Angeles and the LAPD. It seems to me that these people are the last ones who should be telling local government and law enforcement how to do their jobs correctly. Maybe the people of the United States should force the FBI into a consent decree as well.

Regarding the pathetic failure of the FBI to follow proper procedure regarding evidence in the McVeigh proceedings, perhaps FBI Director Louis Freeh was too busy trying to determine if a friend of a friend of a friend of a cousin of Bill Clinton’s had illegally donated $500 to the Democratic Party ... and when did President Clinton know it!
