Former Angels All-Star Doug DeCinces and restaurateur Antonio Cagnolo were among the men who took turns on the stage at the Newport Beach Marriott & Tennis Club on Tuesday to showcase spring and summer fashions to help raise $200,000 for the Heart of Jesus Retreat Center in Santa Ana.

Also under the spotlight: members of the Sacred Heart Kids Club, who sang for the 500 guests attending the 23rd annual “Gentlemen’s Haberdashery” luncheon.

Proceeds will help fund the retreat center operated by the Sisters of the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart. About 15,000 Orange County schoolchildren attend an annual, daylong retreat at the center.

Rancho Mission Viejo President and Chief Executive Officer Tony Moiso and his wife, Melinda, were benefit co-chairs. “It is an honor and a joy to help these sisters . . . whose work extends from [California] to Hungary and Taiwan,” Tony Moiso said.
