What Are You Drinking?

“I’ve been drinking a lot of wines from Argentina and Chile because I work down there a lot, but I’ve been paying a lot of attention to the Malbecs of Argentina, and I like the Cabs and some of the new Cabs of the mountain area .... Some new mountain vineyards are starting to produce pretty exciting wines. The wines are just really rich and ripe and have a great structure and tons of fruit--huge fruit. They’re just delicious. They’re like biting into an extremely ripe plum or black cherry.”
