Rebels Reportedly Kill 7 in Attack on Truck

Angolan rebels killed seven people in an attack on a truck in the country’s central highlands, church-run radio reported.
A number of seriously wounded people were being treated in a provincial hospital, a doctor told Radio Ecclesia. He gave no figures.
A police spokesman in Luanda, the capital, blamed Tuesday’s attack on the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola, which has battled the government since Portugal granted independence to the southwest African country in 1975.
