“The 1997 Quintessa. It’s a Cabernet blend. I think the berry fruit is so beautifully crafted and exhibited in this wine. It has good tannic structure and balance. It has a nice clean acidity and good overall structure. I think it will age beautifully, but it’s approachable now. Some of the super-premium wines are hard at entry--this has access. I think it will be one of the great wines of the future, one to watch.”
