FBI to Close Phone Line for Terror Tips

The FBI’s hotline for reporting terrorism information will be shut down today, the bureau said. Anyone with information should call their local FBI office instead.
Law enforcement sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the call volume has dropped and that local FBI offices can now handle the tips.
The number being eliminated is (866) 483-5137.
