Celebrate Thanksgiving

Just a thought during our holiday celebrations. I seem to see a trend in our stores to go from Halloween to Christmas. This year, because of the recent happenings in New York, I would like to see more attention paid to Thanksgiving.

We should give thanks for living in this wonderful country, where we have the freedom to give thanks. We should give thanks for being able to view an original printed copy of our Declaration of Independence at the nearby Reagan Library. We should give thanks for being able to worship or not, however we want. Oh, yes, there are many reasons to give thanks. Just look around you. Our world is full of them. God bless America.
