WTC Flag Now Flies Aboard Aircraft Carrier
The American flag planted by New York firefighters in the ruins of the World Trade Center has now been hoisted aboard the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt in the Mediterranean, the vessel’s captain said.

Ship commander Capt. Rich O’Hanlon told ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” program that the flag was raised this week.
