Pegboard Can Help Bring Order

A wall-mounted pegboard is good for storing tools in the workshop. It’s also ideal for organizing other things, such as goggles, dust masks and respirators, and small hand-held electronic gadgets like stud finders, multimeters, voltage testers and calculators.

Fresh batteries and various small tools and parts that one needs or uses often can also be stored on a pegboard.

To keep these items dirt-, dust-and moisture-free, seal them in plastic food-storage bags, and put a metal spring-binder clip (from the stationery store) on the top edge of the bags. Hang them from a pegboard hook. They’ll be easy to reach, and you’ll be able to see what’s inside. Because they’re sealed airtight, whatever you store will be clean and dust-free.
