Telemarketing Abuse
Re “2 Laws to Curb Sales Calls,” Oct. 11: The simple way to stop telemarketing abuse is to hang up as soon as the caller makes it clear that he or she is not known to the victim of the call. Of course they won’t take no for an answer. Do not speak to the caller, just put down the phone. Worked for me! I no longer receive such calls.
