Wine of the Week

An absolutely delicious Syrah--ripe, but not jammy, with an elegance that’s unusual in California Syrahs. This one is a deep fuchsia color with a bouquet of blackberries and plums, squeaky clean fruit and a full-throttled Syrah flavor. It’s terrific with anything charred--steak, chops, rustic sausages, grilled anything. A lot of juice for the price.
