Yankees’ sixth inning, two on, two out (Score tied, 1-1): Yankee third baseman Scott Brosius, often overlooked but a player who comes up big in clutch situations, singled to left off 42-year-old Diamondback reliever Mike Morgan, scoring Bernie Williams. Not only did that end up being the winning run, the lead allowed Joe Torre to turn the game over to Mariano Rivera in the eighth inning. And Rivera is simply unhittable in the postseason.
