ABC Revamps Its Web Site for New Season

For the second year in a row, ABC Inc. is marking the start of a new TV season by overhauling its Web site.

The changes were made to attract younger viewers and the advertisers who love them--just as ABC is attempting to do with its new TV lineup. To that end, ABC.com is spicing up the site’s staid look and incorporating entertainment news, film reviews and other features from the soon-to-be-defunct Mr. Showbiz Web site.

The site also plans to add material from US Weekly, the magazine that ABC parent Walt Disney Co. bought a 50% stake in this year.
