Book on Old Courthouse to Debut at Public Event

The Orange County Historical Society next week will sponsor the first of several events commemorating the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Old Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana, which opened Nov. 12, 1901.

On Thursday, the group will unveil a new book on the courthouse written by Phil Brigandi, author of numerous books on other aspects of Orange County’s history. Brigandi will be on hand to talk about the book.

The free event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Library and Gardens, Dahlia Avenue and Coast Highway, Corona del Mar.
