Critical of Her New View of Singledom

So now that Sandy Banks is part of a couple, she is eschewing her single friends “who were so kind to [her] when [she] was alone” and excuses this behavior because “there is a new relationship to consider” (Sandy Banks, Sept. 2, “She No Longer Has a Single Complaint”).

She is promulgating the very social bias and unfounded fears that cause single women so much grief and loneliness. She buys into the misguided concept that a woman is nothing without a man. How shallow and pathetic, not to mention damaging to women everywhere--especially her own daughters. She learned nothing.
