Hospice to Meet With Prospective Volunteers

Assisted Home Hospice will hold an introductory meeting for prospective volunteers Tuesday.
Participants can learn about opportunities to work with the terminally ill, which can include reading to patients, attending medical appointments and relieving caregivers.
“We’ll talk about the hospice and discuss the initiation training involved,” said volunteer coordinator Annette Talon. “It’s a good opportunity for people to determine if working with the terminally ill is really what they want to do.”
