Hospital Fined $22,000 in Boy’s MRI Death

The hospital where a boy, 6, was killed by an oxygen tank pulled by the magnet of an MRI machine was fined for 11 code violations, the state Health Department said.
The Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y., was fined $22,000.
Michael Colombini, of Croton-on-Hudson, died two days after his skull was fractured in July by the tank as he underwent an MRI.
