Activision Inc. agreed to purchase Sausalito-based Shaba Games in a stock deal worth $9.5million.

The deal is Activision’s third acquisition in six months. The Santa Monica-based video game publisher in January bought the remaining 40% of Gray Matter Interactive Studios it didn’t already own for $3.1 million. In October, it acquired Treyarch Invention for about $20 million.

Activision shares fell $1.45 to $28.30 on Nasdaq.
