Re “Put the Wham on Spam,” editorial, April 6: As annoying as spam is, telemarketing, which seems to be increasing exponentially, is a far more irritating intrusion, especially when it occurs in the form of a prerecorded message upon which one cannot hang up. I’ve had a lot of those calls lately, and yesterday was a real low point: three prerecorded pitches from different companies within the space of one hour.
